VRock along with its consortium partners delivered a thorough investigation of cross-cutting issues of the electricity sector for JICA. The issues included cross-border electricity trade, legal and regulatory reform related to the Electricity Regulatory Commission and NEA, impact of federalism on the electricity sector, implementing challenges related to forest clearance & ROWs for power infrastructure. The project also provided advise to JICA and its associated staff/consultants working on their interest to invest in the Nalsinghad Multipurpose Hydropower Development Project.
