VRock is supporting NEA to develop financial, economic and analytical capacity within NEA to institute a culture of data driven decision making. We have assisted NEA in developing their 5-year strategic plan which aims to transform NEA into a modern utility. We have developed NEA’s corporate financial model which will form the basis for NEA to derive its cost of service and design an optimal consumer tariff structure. VRock is working closely with NEA in calculating and devising a tariff revision proposal for submission to the ERC. Through our engagement with NEA we have advised NEA on managing its foreign exchange risk arising out of US Dollar denominated power purchase agreements and successfully concluded an agreement on the 216MW Upper Trishuli-1 Project.
