Project Description
Partners: Venture Waste 2 Energy
Client: Municipalities
Sector: Solid Waste Management
Project Start: 2023
VRock is supporting municipalities in their pursuit of effective solid waste management through the transformative Waste-to-Energy Project. The aim of the project is to offer a comprehensive solution that encompasses the entire life cycle of waste materials, from generation to disposal by meticulously preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) that explore waste-to-energy opportunities within the framework of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality.
The project entails an exhaustive analysis of waste generation and composition across diverse sectors, evaluates existing waste management systems, and employs the findings to recommend suitable technologies. Additionally, the project assesses the technological and financial aspects of the proposed solutions, identify potential implementation sites, and scrutinizes the policy landscape to surmount any obstacles hindering successful waste management.
The outcomes of the research and analysis are intended to empower municipalities with the knowledge needed to make well-informed decisions to facilitate the adoption of sustainable waste management practices and unlock the potential for harnessing renewable energy from municipal solid waste.
